These Terms of Use apply to Poke Battle Announcer on iPhone and Android. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms and the rules of the store through which you obtained it.
What the App Does
Poke Battle Announcer is a companion app that reads visible battle text and plays matching announcer callouts. It does not connect to, modify, automate, or control a game, and it does not guarantee any competitive advantage.
Free Calls, Pro, and Classic
The app may offer the following access options, subject to availability in your store:
- Free: 50 lifetime battle callouts across Phone Game and Camera modes.
- Weekly or Yearly Pro: automatically renewing subscriptions that remove the callout limit while active.
- Lifetime Pro: a one-time purchase that removes the callout limit for the supported lifetime of the app and service.
- Classic Announcer Pack: a separate one-time purchase that unlocks an alternate announcer style.
Classic changes the announcer voice but does not remove the free-call limit. Pro removes the limit but does not include Classic unless your purchase screen explicitly says otherwise.
Current prices, introductory offers, taxes, currency, and availability are displayed by Apple App Store or Google Play before you confirm a purchase. Store pricing may change and may vary by region.
Subscriptions
Weekly and Yearly Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel within the period required by your store. Your Apple or Google account is charged by the store. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription.
One-Time Purchases and Restoration
Lifetime Pro and the Classic Announcer Pack are non-consumable, one-time purchases tied to the store account used to buy them. Use the app's Restore Purchases option while signed into that account when moving to a compatible device or reinstalling. Cross-platform restoration between Apple and Google accounts is not guaranteed.
Billing and Refunds
Apple or Google handles billing, payment methods, receipts, renewals, cancellations, and refund decisions. Their applicable media-services or Google Play terms govern those transactions.
Device and Game Compatibility
Screen layouts, operating systems, devices, languages, and game updates can affect callout accuracy or availability. Camera mode also depends on lighting, screen angle, glare, and framing. We may change supported configurations as the app and compatible games evolve.
Acceptable Use
- Use the app only with gameplay and screens you are allowed to view.
- Do not use the app to capture, distribute, or misuse private information.
- Do not copy, extract, resell, redistribute, or publicly host the app's bundled audio or other assets.
- Do not reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or abuse the app, purchase system, or related services except where applicable law expressly permits.
Intellectual Property
The app, website, original code, branding, and licensed or original audio assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app; they do not transfer ownership of those materials.
Independent Companion App
Poke Battle Announcer is an unofficial third-party companion app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, Creatures, or any related brand or platform owner. All third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
No Warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties. We work to keep callouts timely and accurate, but visible text recognition and audio matching may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poke Battle Announcer and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes to the App or These Terms
We may update the app, features, supported configurations, or these terms. The date at the top identifies the latest version. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
