Yes. Switch to Camera mode, point your phone at the battle text on the other screen, and the announcer calls the match from there.

Does it record, upload, or listen to anything?

No. Battle text is read on your device and matched to prebuilt announcer audio. Nothing is uploaded, and the app never asks for your microphone.

What does Pro unlock?

Every download includes 50 battle calls. Pro removes the limit with one payment, no subscription, and includes the Classic Announcer voice.
