Video description and transcript

The video opens with players asking for a battle announcer, then shows live calls during Earthquake, Fake Out, a Mega Evolution, Last Respects, Electro Shot, Heat Wave, Pokémon send-outs, and rain. It ends with the Poke Battle Announcer app title.

Built for the battle

More atmosphere. Zero extra work.

Start the announcer before a match and play normally. The app follows visible battle text and chooses the right call from its bundled audio library.

01

Every turning point gets a call.

Moves, switches, status, weather, Mega Evolutions, critical hits, knockouts, and match endings.

02

Go old school.

Unlock the optional Classic Announcer Pack for throwback stadium energy and iconic reactions.

03

Your battle stays yours.

Battle text is read on your device. Gameplay frames are not uploaded, and the app never needs your microphone.

04

Phone, Switch, or TV.

Use Phone Game mode when you battle on the same phone. Use Camera mode for a Switch, TV, handheld, or another display.

Two ways to play

Pick a screen. Start the show.

The setup changes depending on where your match is running. Both routes lead to the same live announcer experience.

01

Phone Game

Start the screen announcer, switch to Pokémon Champions, and battle normally on the same iPhone or Android phone.

02

Camera Mode

Point your phone at the battle text on a Switch, TV, handheld, or second screen. The on-screen guide helps you line it up.

Quick answers

Before you enter the arena.

Does it work with Pokémon Champions?

Yes. Poke Battle Announcer is designed to follow the visible battle text in Pokémon Champions and call key moments while the match continues.

Can I use it with a Switch or TV?

Yes. Open Camera mode on your phone, point the guide at the battle text on the other screen, and keep the phone nearby for the commentary.

Does it record or upload my gameplay?

No. Battle frames are processed on your device to read visible battle text. They are not saved as recordings or uploaded to our servers.

Does it listen through my microphone?

No. The app does not request microphone access. It watches visible battle text and plays matching callouts from its bundled audio library.

Is commentary generated live?

The app reads visible battle text on your device and matches it to prebuilt announcer audio. It does not send gameplay to an AI service or generate commentary in the cloud during a battle. Some voice/audio and artwork were created with generative tools.

What do Pro and the Classic Pack unlock?

Pro removes the 50-call limit. The separate, one-time Classic Announcer Pack unlocks an alternate throwback commentary style; it does not remove the call limit by itself. Current prices appear in your store before purchase.

Is this an official Pokémon app?

No. Poke Battle Announcer is an independent third-party companion app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, Creatures, or any platform owner.
